Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia County Courts will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
WHEREAS, parenting coordination is recognized as a viable method of dispute resolution in the family law arena, and
WHEREAS, Rule (15.000(a)(1), Florida Rules for Qualified and Court-Appointed Parenting Coordinators, bestows administrative responsibility for the management of parenting coordinator rosters on the chief judges of the judicial circuits or their designees;
NOW THEREFORE, I, JAMES R. CLAYTON, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, hereby designate the Court Administrator’s Office of the Seventh Judicial Circuit to perform administrative tasks associated with the management of a roster of qualified parenting coordinators for this circuit.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that individuals who wish to be considered for inclusion on the roster of qualified parenting coordinators must complete and submit a Qualified Parenting Coordinator Application form and all required documentation to the Court Administrators Office. Individuals included on the roster must update information contained in their applications, if necessary, by providing written notice of any changes to Court Administration within 30 days of said changes. Furthermore, in order to remain on the circuit’s roster, individuals must submit a Qualified Parenting Coordinator Renewal form and a Continuing Parenting Coordination Education Reporting form no later than December 31st of every odd-number calendar year to Court Administration. Failure to keep roster information current or provide renewal/reporting forms by the due date will result in an individual’s removal from the circuit’s roster of qualified parenting coordinators without further notice.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Administrative Order FM-2015-046-SC is hereby rescinded.
