Court Reporting Services

Court Reporting Services are responsible for creating the verbatim record of court proceedings required to be reported/recorded at public expense in Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties. This is accomplished through the use of digital court recording and includes the following proceedings:

  • Criminal (felony & misdemeanor)
  • Juvenile Delinquency
  • Juvenile Dependency & TPR
  • Domestic Violence Injunction for Protection
  • Guardianship (§ 744.109(1), F.S.
  • Mental Health/Baker Act
  • Substance Abuse/Marchman Act
  • Adult Protective Services Act
  • General Magistrate
  • Child Support Hearing Officer

Stenographic reporters cover all Capital/Life Felony trials.

Digital recording technology is used in all other proceedings.

The Digital Court Reporting Office does not produce written transcripts.  To obtain a written transcript, you must first order a digital/audio recording of the court event.  The recording will need to be provided to a stenographic reporter of your choosing, who can prepare the written transcript for you.
