Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia County courts will be closed Friday, April 3, in observance of Good Friday. Courts (courthouses) throughout the Seventh Circuit will resume normal operations on Monday, April 6.
WHEREAS, the Supreme Court of Florida issued AOSC24-126 on November 26, 2024 establishing a Uniform Statewide Bond Schedule effective January 1, 2025, and
WHEREAS, the Uniform Statewide Bond Schedule only applies when the police, county jail, or pretrial release employees exercise their discretion to release a person on bond before that person’s first appearance hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Uniform Statewide Bond Schedule is not intended to, and does not in any manner, bind judges conducting first appearances or making bail determinations;
NOW THEREFORE, I, LEAH R. CASE, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, hereby order that the Uniform Statewide Bond Schedule established by the Supreme Court of Florida be adopted by reference for use throughout the Seventh Judicial Circuit.
Nothing in this Order prohibits or otherwise restricts the use of Notices to Appear issued in accordance with Rule 3.125, Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure.
