All Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia County courts will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, for Christmas and New Year’s.
Circuit Judge Sandra C. Upchurch was elected to the bench in 2014. She received her bachelor’s degree in business from Boston College and her juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law. An attorney since 1994, she worked in private practice as a certified mediator for several years. She also worked for the Florida Office of the Attorney General and the city attorney’s offices for Ormond Beach and Tallahassee. She currently hears family law cases at the Steven C. Henderson Judicial Center in Daytona Beach.
