Circuit Judge Sandra C. Upchurch was elected to the bench in 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree from Boston College and her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1994 and worked in private practice as a certified mediator. She also served in the Florida Office of the Attorney General and in the City Attorney’s Offices for Ormond Beach and Tallahassee. She currently hears civil cases at the Kim C. Hammond Justice Center in Bunnell and the Putnam County Courthouse in Palatka.
