Volusia County Court Judge Hunter Morrill was appointed to the bench in 2026. She earned her undergraduate degree from Florida State University and her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2015. Before her appointment, she worked as an associate attorney at Smith Bigman Brock P.A. since 2021. Earlier in her career, she served as an assistant state attorney in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. She currently hears civil cases at the Steven C. Henderson Judicial Center in Daytona Beach and the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
