Volusia County Court Judge David A. Cromartie was appointed to the bench in 2018. He earned his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1998 and spent much of his legal career with the State Attorney’s Office, where he served as a Managing Attorney. He also worked in private practice. He currently hears criminal cases at the Steven C. Henderson Judicial Center in Daytona Beach.
