Circuit Judge Kathryn D. Weston was elected to the bench in 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting at Stetson University and her Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Notre Dame Law School. She first practiced law in Chicago, specializing in tax litigation. After returning to Florida, she worked in private practice, focusing on general civil cases. She is board certified by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation. Judge Weston currently hears felony cases at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach.
