Circuit Judge Christopher A. France was appointed to the bench in 2016. He earned his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1995 and served as an Assistant State Attorney for 18 years, including a stint as Division Chief of St. Johns County. He also worked as a staff attorney in Putnam County prior to his appointment. He currently presides in a Unified Family Court division the Kim C. Hammond Justice Center in Bunnell and probate cases at the Putnam County Courthouse in Palatka.
