 
															Circuit Judge Karen A. Foxman was elected to the bench in 2014. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctor from Campbell University. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1996 and spent much of her legal career with the State Attorney’s Office, first as an Assistant State Attorney and later as director of operations. She also worked in private practice for more than seven years, handling family law and criminal defense. She currently hears criminal cases at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
