Circuit Judge Robert W. Pickens, III was appointed to the bench in 2024. Prior to becoming a Judge, he worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the Seventh Judicial Circuit and in private practice in Putnam County. Judge Pickens earned his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University and his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. Judge Pickens currently hears juvenile delinquency and dependency cases at the Volusia County Courthouse in Deland.
