Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia County Courts will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
WHEREAS, pursuant to a Motion to Return Expired Passports held by the Clerk of Court for safekeeping to the U.S. Department of State or foreign embassy for proper disposal, and Affidavit filed by Laura E. Roth, Clerk of Court, Volusia County, Florida, it has been determined by the undersigned that the Clerk is authorized to return passports in her custody that meet certain requirements;
NOW THEREFORE, I, JAMES R. CLAYTON, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, hereby order the Volusia County Clerk of Court to return those expired passports listed in the attached Exhibit “A” to the U.S. Department of State or embassy of the country of origin for proper disposal.
