Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia County Courts will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
WHEREAS, the establishment of priorities for the disbursement of restitution, court costs, fines and fees through the Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole, as well as all County misdemeanor probation service providers, is necessary for the efficient and proper administration of justice;
NOW THEREFORE, I, TERENCE R. PERKINS, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, hereby order that in the absence of any specific order by the sentencing judge, all probation entities shall disburse money paid by probationers in accordance with the following priorities:
In the event payments are received from probationers in cases in which restitution has not yet been determined, the supervising probation agencies are authorized to disburse said payments in accordance with priorities #2 – #4 above, pending the issuance of restitution orders.
