WHEREAS, it has been made known to the undersigned that the Court’s Administrative Order concerning the disposition of traffic cases involving commercial motor vehicles must be amended;
NOW THEREFORE, I, JAMES R. CLAYTON, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit, order as follows:
In matters where an individual is charged with a civil traffic infraction involving the use of a commercial motor vehicle pursuant to §§ 316.302, 316.215 and/or 316.228, Florida. Statutes, and 49 CFR 100 – 399, the following offenses shall be made returnable to the Office of the Clerk of Court in either Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns or Volusia counties, depending upon the location of the alleged infraction, within thirty (30) days of the issuance of such citation for a disposition allowing said individual to pay the civil penalty and court cost assessed below. Said individual may admit to the commission of the offense and be adjudicated guilty or enter a plea of not guilty and request a court hearing.
