The Seventh Judicial Circuit Court is accepting letters of interest from qualified, certified county court mediators interested in mediating cases throughout the circuit on a contractual basis beginning April 1, 2022. Those selected will be compensated at the rate of $20.00 per hour.
Those selected will serve as independent contractors and will be required to conduct county court mediations in person or virtually in all cases to which they are assigned.
To be considered, applicants must be:
(a) A certified county mediator who is in good standing with the Dispute Resolution Center;
(b) Familiar with Chapter 44, Florida Statutes, Florida Rules of Civil Procedure, and Florida Small Claims Rules;
(c) Proficient in using Zoom, emailing, scanning, and submitting documents electronically.
