Volusia County Court Judge Wesley Heidt was appointed to the bench in 2021. He earned his undergraduate degree from Valdosta State College and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1988 and served as Bureau Chief in the Office of the Attorney General in Daytona Beach before his appointment. He currently hears criminal cases and presides in the DUI Court at the Steven C. Henderson Judicial Center in Daytona Beach.
