Volusia County Court Judge Wesley Heidt was appointed to the bench in 2020 and began his term in January 2021. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1988 and served as the bureau chief of the Florida Attorney General’s office in Daytona Beach prior to his appointment. He earned his undergraduate degree from Valdosta State College and his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Judge Heidt currently hears civil cases at the Volusia County Courthouse Annex on City Island in Daytona Beach.
