Circuit Judge Robert W. Pickens III was appointed to the bench in 2024. He earned his undergraduate degree from Jacksonville University and his Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 2017 and previously served as an Assistant State Attorney before working in private practice in Putnam County. He currently hears family law cases at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
