Volusia County Court Judge Robert A. Sanders Jr. was elected to the bench in 2010. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1996 and worked in private practice as a criminal defense attorney. He currently hears criminal cases at the Steven C Henderson Judicial Center in Daytona Beach and presides in the Judge David B. Beck Veterans Court at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
