Volusia County Court Judge Robert A. Sanders, Jr., was elected to the bench in 2010. Before becoming a judge, he spent 14 years as a criminal defense attorney. He earned an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and juris doctor from California Western School of Law. Judge Sanders currently hears civil cases and presides over the Judge David B. Beck Veterans Court at the Steven C. Henderson Judicial Center in Daytona Beach.
