Circuit Judge Leah R. Case was appointed to the bench in 2010. She earned her undergraduate degree and her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. She was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1994 and served as Deputy Chief of Volusia County for the State Attorney’s Office, with 16 years of experience prosecuting criminal cases prior to her appointment. She currently serves as Chief Judge while also hearing criminal cases at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach.
