Circuit Judge Frank Talbot was appointed to the bench in 2026. He earned his undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, his Juris Doctor from Mercer University, and a Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida. He was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1994 and has served as an assistant United States attorney for the Middle District of Florida since 2002. Earlier in his career, he served as an assistant state attorney. He currently hears Juvenile cases at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.
