All Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns, and Volusia County courts will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1, for Christmas and New Year’s.
Putnam County Court Judge Elizabeth A. Morris was appointed to the bench in 2000. Before becoming a judge, she was in private practice for eight years. She earned both her undergraduate and juris doctor degrees from the University of Florida. Judge Morris hears civil and juvenile dependency cases at the Putnam County Courthouse in Palatka. She also presides over the adult drug court program in Putnam County.
