WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole, prepares and submits Probation Violation Reports when notifying judges of alleged technical violations of probation, and
WHEREAS, the preparation of Notification of Technical Violation letters has been determined to be a more efficient utilization of limited resources;
NOW THEREFORE, I, TERENCE R. PERKINS, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, hereby order that absent specific orders by sentencing judges to the contrary, the Florida Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole, may submit Notification of Technical Violation letters in lieu of formal Probation Violation Reports when advising judges of alleged technical violations of probation.
TO BE RECORDED in Flagler, Putnam, St. Johns and Volusia counties.
