WHEREAS, § 102.141(1), Florida Statutes, sets forth the membership of county canvassing boards, and
WHEREAS, the undersigned has been advised of the need to appoint a “qualified elector” to serve as an alternate member of the St. Johns County Canvassing Board for activities related to the August 20, 2024 primary and November 5, 2024 general elections due to the unavailability of any member of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners to serve in that capacity;
NOW THEREFORE, I, LEAH R. CASE, Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, pursuant to the provisions of § 102.141(1)(d), Florida Statutes, hereby appoint Mr. Charles J. Tinlin as an alternate member of the St. Johns County Canvassing Board for all meetings associated with August 20 primary, and November 5 general elections in 2024.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Mr. Tinlin shall assume such duties and responsibilities as set forth in Florida Statutes as an alternate member of the St. Johns County Canvassing Board and shall continue as an alternate member of said canvassing board until his duties conclude.
