Circuit Judge Raul A. Zambrano was appointed to the bench in 2005. Before his appointment, Judge Zambrano was an assistant state attorney and division chief for the Office of the State Attorney, Seventh Judicial Circuit. He earned a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Judge Zambrano received his juris doctor from Stetson University. He has presided over civil, Drug Court and dependency cases and currently presides over a felony division at the S. James Foxman Justice Center in Daytona Beach. He served as Chief Judge from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2021.
