This Volusia County-funded position is paid biweekly and includes the Volusia County benefits package. The successful applicant will be subject to a criminal background screening and employment eligibility verification through E-Verify. If not already a Volusia County-funded employee, the successful applicant is required to undergo a drug screening test.
Function:
Reports directly to the Court Technology Officer in Court Administration. Progressively responsible position performing technical work designing, programming, configuring, and customizing web-based applications. Provides customer support in the use of applications. Elicits and documents business processes and user requirements. Analyzes and summarizes complex data sets to support business processes. Day travel throughout the county as needed is required. Headquarters are subject to change based on the needs of the Court.
Examples of some of the illustrative duties:
• Determines project resource requirements.
• Analyzes cost statistics and prepares economic comparisons of alternative methods.
• Designs and implements enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with established standards.
• Creates specifications for coding, testing, and implementation tasks.
• Reviews program code to ensure compliance with established standards.
• Coordinates implementation of new or modified court applications.
• Identifies opportunities to modify or improve existing systems and workflows.
• Creates and maintains technical and non-technical user documentation, help files, and training materials.
• Conducts user training sessions
Minimum Requirements:
Any combination of education and experience totaling 6 years. The preferred candidate will have experience. This position will require extensive knowledge of website and web-based application development. The preferred applicant will be skilled in three or more of the following products:

• HTML5JavaScript/JQuery
• CSS3
• Drupal/WordPress or other Content Management System
• Crystal Reports
• Telerik
• MS SQL Server 2014 or higher
• SQL Query and SQL Scripting
